IMPORTANT UPDATE - COVID-19 Risk Assessment for return to training

Please note the following risk assessment is specifically developed for those intending to return to non-contact training and fitness session.  It is important that all other safeguarding and protection measures such as DBS checks and first aid requirements are in place during the session.  It is also advised that any return to training is discussed and agreed with those parents and carers of children who are considered vulnerable and those with special needs or medical issues. 

The risk assessment below is not exhaustive but is aided to cover the main risks identified as a result of running a session.  This document is a live document and should be used by Bengeo Tiger coaches to approach and plan their sessions putting appropriate controls and measures in an effort to reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.  It is to allow those who are taking part and involved in the session to feel that they are involved in a safe and controlled environment where children can reengage with football and their team members.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT : Covid-19 update

Following the announcement by Herts FA to postpone all grassroots football in Herts, BTFC Committee has decided to postpone all football for the foreseeable future. This is entirely to protect the safety of our players and their families. Stay safe and well and we hope to return to football soon ⚽️

2) Treasure/Finances 

• Club Finances are good 

• 2020-21Annual fees will be sent out in March 

3) Cardiac Risk in the Young: 

• • Karen Blease spoke about CRY and the work they do. 

• • There are still 30 places to fill for screening 

4) Pitches/Match days/training 

• Steve Blease responsible for marking out blue pitches 

• Earliest kick off time 10am 

• Game cancellations due to unsafe pitches (Damo or Andy W to make the call) 

• Reverse fixtures (Damo or Andy W to make the call) 

• Water bottles required 

• Respect line marked out 

• Match delegate required in high vis jacket 

• Container to be left tidy 

• Away team template email for matches (action KB) 

• Not permitted on school premises Dogs , Smoking, Vaping

• New WhatsApp Group set up for better communication between Committee and coaches 

5) New Ground 

DT updated all on Broad Oak a piece of land BTFC Committee looked at for a home ground, this is now going to be build on for home. Search for a new ground will continue. 

6) East Herts Lottery 

Andy Sheen, spoke about the EHL that the club of signed up to, this generates income for the club. Tickets are £1 a week of which 50p is given to the club. 

7) Clubhouse 

• Flooring has been renewed, thanks to Chris Martin 

• Clubhouse to go greener with cups that can be reused 

• Club House Pictures: suggested photos of committee members and managers with their names (possibly phone numbers) and team age group to be displayed in club house 

• Chris Martin will be leaving BT after many years with the club 

8) Bengeo Tigers FC Presentation 

Saturday 13th June 2020

• Spaces have been offered to BT coaches to visit Tottenham Hotspur to look at their coaching facilities, sessions that will be on and have an overview of the club and ethos.
